So this past summer I was doing an internship at Anchor Communications and boy did my life start to take a step in a different direction! Not a bad direction, just one that I had never had a path drawn out for on my map. Not only did I learn so, so, so much from the internship (A BIG THANKS TO WILLIAM WATSON), but also I got my toes wet in modeling. I had NEVER thought about being a model before. I mean, of course every girl dreams of being beautiful and successful, but I just didn't think I had what it takes. Thank goodness for William. He really made me believe in myself! I had always had aspirations and dreams for myself but just didn't have the push to get me started.
William knew and worked with Toni's International Modeling Agency in St. Louis and said, "Hey, you should talk to Elizabeth and get signed up!" Little did I know that literally the week after I submitted my pictures and bio that I would be walking down the runway. My first modeling job was for Rusk. They are a huge hair products brand and changed my life forever. I was one of their hair models in the Volume Hair Show at Home Night Club. With absolutely no experience I strutted my stuff and gave it all I had. This right here proves my point that ANYONE CAN DO ANYTHING THAT THEY SET THEIR MIND TO! You just have to believe in yourselves. Not only was it an awesome hair show but we also modeled for a St. Louis Clothing Line. The clothes, hair, music, and whole atmosphere was outstanding!
Since my first show, I have modeled in St. Charles Fashion Week and Fight For Fashion (six runway shows since Volume) and every experience was priceless to say the least. Also, I have been booked with the agency doing promotions and photo shoots. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me! I feel like I have a pretty good portfolio so now its time to get rocking!
